Grievance Mongers Cry “RACISM” After University Serves Mexican Food

By on Saturday, October 10, 2015

Believe it or not, but a few liberal grievance mongers managed to get offended when Clemson University recently celebrated its annual “Maximum Mexican” event by serving its students some scrumptious Mexican cuisine.
According to Campus Reform, while the majority of Clemson students hungrily took part in the event, two of them — one included below — decided to throw a fit on Twitter:
Really? Call me crazy, but to me, nothing shows racial and/or cultural diversity more than students from one race or cultural group taking part in another group’s cultural customs.
Rather than stand up for common-sense, however, Dr. Doug Hallenbeck, Clemson University’s Senior Associate Vice President of Student Affair, decided to apologize.
“It is the mission of University Housing & Dining to create supportive and challenging environments that enrich and nourish lives,” he wrote on the university website. “We failed to live out our mission yesterday, and we sincerely apologize.”
*repeatedly slams his head into a desk*

Thankfully, students agreed.
“What’s next?” student Austin Pendergist asked. “Are they going to take away all potato based food as to not offend students from Irish decent? Remove the stir fry station so Asian-American students don’t feel as if they are being misrepresented? When does it end?”
Exactly, Austin.
