A Real Buried Treasure That Is Not a Hoax (41 pics)

German artist Michael Sailstorfer’s unusual new project is truly one-of-a-kind and will make some people very happy. He has buried $16,500 (£10,000) on the beach in Folkestone and once the tide goes out on Thursday, people are encouraged to come out and dig for it. This type of project is called “participatory artwork” and the gold bars will be for individuals to keep if they can find them.
