  1. What about humidity concerns? Is it vented or are exhaust fans on any humidity meters? I wonder if it is Too airtight and that would be a problem.

  4. you can get box trailers for as little as 400.00 each in our area, and after that is the cost of supplies, so the entire project if you do it yourself could be way under ten grand.

  8. As anyone that has deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan can tell you making a shipping container home isn't that hard. That is making it so that you have electricity, insulation and have a heater/air conditioner. What we see here is next level housing. This is awesome!

  12. Mr.Wade, this is amazing.....how much would you think it would cost for 3 containers plus materials.....

  13. Jessica, that really all depends on your resourcefulness and how much of the work you can do yourself, it is really a very broad question. I can only go by what I have done and if you can do all the work yourself, I think you could do a three container home somewhere around $50,000. I actually think you could do that for less, because I spent a lot on extras such as carports, well, solar additions and things of that nature that you may not need or want., .

  14. Modify containers like this for a living. Military, govt., and civilian. Some pretty impressive things can be made from a shipping container.

Great Job! Use to work for a company that does offices out of containers. You did a wonderful job and very pretty, also. Would be proud to live in one of these. Thank you for sharing your accomplishment.
