When you are blocking access to a building and a cop tells you to move, move or get sprayed, its that simple.

If you have a condition (asthma, allergies, heart conditions, etc) that might prove lethal if involved in being pepper sprayed, stunned with stun gun, or physical exertion caused by arrest than don't put yourself in that position.
police pepper spray needs to be sronger than civillian pepper spray, you cant have people having the same strength pepper spray that would be turned around on police so fast where low lifes would be using them against cops for traffic stops. Yes pepper spray can be deadly for people with heart diseases that comes from most obiestity or drug problems, asthma from smoking different substances. my point is not everything could be safe to everyone would you rather have them be completely unarmed or have them go straight to a stun gun
Has anyone seen that whole video? The students SURROUNDED the police and wouldn't let them leave. They were warned numerous times that they would be sprayed, and one officer told each student quietly and individually that they would be sprayed. Then they were warned again immediately before they were sprayed. I'm not saying the cops were right; I'm saying the edited footage doesn't tell the whole story.

I have been pepper sprayed 6 times for training as a peace officer. It burns,you go home and shower and you're fine. 70 people have died in 22 years of using pepper spray?????? My God! Make it illegal now!!!! STFU! What other factors contributed to their death (high on drugs)? If the officers had tried to physically separate those protesters, someone may have been injured. With the spray, nobody was hurt. Protesting is legal, but when you block or impede traffic or people who are not involved in the protest, it is no longer peaceful or legal. They were ordered to disperse and chose not to. They should have thought about the consequences of their actions. Stop whining and don't break the law....Asshats!
