The Brown Sister project is a a very interesting but also sad project. Nicholas Nixon took a picture of four sisters, Heather, Mimi, Bebe and Laurie, every year since 1975. Here is the whole set of photos.

Hi, this is a wonderful project. Thank you for sharing this. Why sad? I do not see anything sad in four sisters growing older. They all have each other still after 35 years. That one can see in their faces that time left traces is what live is all about. There is nothing sad about it. Would be nice to see the coming years... My compliments to the photographer. Danièle
